RaginCajun (284), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 17, 2008 Mild floral hops aroma w/ some sugary skunk coming through. Nice malty nose with a typical hoppy finish. Everything about this brew is mild, and that makes it a fairly average beer. I can’t say I can find anything wrong with this beer, but I don’t know if I will try it again. Cletus (4999), Connecticut, USA Aug 13, 2008 Courtesy of douglas88. Pours gold/copper with a white head. Smells of citrus, grass, hay, caramel. Tastes lightly bitter and peppery with lots of earthy character and a citrussy finish. Some resin also present. timfoolery (482), California, USA Aug 12, 2008 This IPA tasted a bit like Kolsch and Pale got mixed in. The hops aren’t very crisp, and the aftertaste sits on the roof of the mouth and tongue. Flavors are of citrus, but it’s also very bitter. Little bit of malt. Eh. patrick820 (69), San Luis Obispo, California, USA Aug 10, 2008 aroma is sweet citrus, flavor is pretty mild for an IPA, grapefruit from hops, with a balanced maltiness maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA Aug 9, 2008 Bottle in Houston, TX on 07/28/08. Clear amber body with a foamy off-white head. Floral, earthy hop aroma. Floral erathy hop flavor with some light caramel. Light bitter finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 7, 2008 355 ml bottle. Golden bronze body with an off-white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus/grapefruit. Flavor is also fruity, citrus with sweet malt and a sharp, balanced bitterness. A nice, plain, straightforward IPA for everyday use. Steib (574), Queen Creek, Arizona, USA Jul 31, 2008 Golden amber color with a fast diminishing head. Hop flavor is less noticable than other ipa’s. Bitter and sweet yet less and more malt on the palate. Malts are more present in the aroma too. Still drinkable, enjoyable yet somewhat dissapointed, more hop character! steview (901), Los Angeles, California, USA Jul 26, 2008 Well, is it an IPA? I suppose. It reminds me of what could be an English version of an IPA. (If I’m off the mark, then... meh to you.) This is a hard beer; hard meaning hard water. It is with its caramel notes, but with some lemon notes, and with some juiciness indeed. I like it. It is alright, but not what I expect for living off the southern coast of California.
