Jul 6, 2008 Draft at the brewery tap. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and lovely grassy adn grapefruity. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grass as well as grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Aug 14, 2006 (12oz, thanks Bück Dich) Medium off-white head atop a clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, pine, grapefruit, some grape. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some grape, pine, bread, light caramel. Light-medium body, light acidity, easy drinking. Surprisingly balanced for a West Coast IPA.

Feb 25, 2007 12oz bottle given to me by whaleman (thanks for looking out for new IPAs for me!). Poured a medium and cloudy oragne color wtih a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of juicy oranges, grapefruit, and light caramel. Tastes of citrus and light caramel. Lighter bitterness. Subdued IPA.

May 11, 2006 Pours a clear bronze with a thin, nicely-lacing white head. Aroma is lightly caramel malty sweet with some fresh piney, citrusy hops. Body starts mildly sweet with some crisp, lightly bitter grapefruity hop flavor and a touch of grainy malt. Finishes bittersweet and lightly sticky. Nicely balanced and very drinkable IPA. Thanks to wohlfs for the bottle!
