| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2007 Nothing outstanding about this beer, but there is a good citrus hop character, fairly fat malt. The malt it probably a bit too caramelly, makes the mouthfeel a bit heavy. But it’s all cool, no complaints really. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2008 This orange amber pour has a floral hops aroma. This brings out a nice bitter yet drinkable taste in the flavor. Haslinger (649), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 6, 2008 One of the better IPAs I have ever had, the grapefruit and hops taste is very exacerbated but not to an entirely bad point. It is a different tasting IPA but not bad by any means. I would probably buy again spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA

Aroma is resins, citrus, sweet malt.
Flavor is lemon, grapefruit, pine needles, some resins. Pretty well balanced for an IPA.
Palate was smooth and fairly full.
Overall, this is a little less forward than many IPAs but not a let-down by any means. Could be a session IPA at 6% abv. Recommended. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 20, 2006 Bottle. Pours an amber with a head with a nice sized head. I thought this was an attempt at balance but it’s an IPA so the hops win out, but not over the top. A dusting of sugar on my seedless grapefruit with a malt trying to look over its shoulder. A middle of the road IPA but that’s not a bad thing. Thanks to wohlfs for the bottle. Beaver (598), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

The aroma is bready malts, and fruity, floral hops. There’s a bit of DMS.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with a peppery hop finish. The mouthfeel is pretty thin and watery.
Overall, an OK IPA, nothing special. It is pretty mellow and subdued. cathcacr (589), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Solid example of the style; I’m reminded quite a bit of DFH’s 60-minute. More emphasis on sweetness (honeyish) than your usual IPA.
