Definately a IPA worth trying. Nalu (33), Washington, USA

Moderate carbonation, excellent body and mouth feel. Very varied taste over the course of a swallow - grapefruit, orange and resinous hops without every overpowering the malt. Finish is nicely sweet and almost oatmeal with the hops overlay. A great IPA HoppyGuy (111), USA

It pours a medium amber with medium beige head and decent carbonation. The aroma is incredible, with a wonderful citrus aroma and flavor. As you can probably tell by my moniker (HoppyGuy), I really enjoy a highly hopped brew like this. The mouthfeel is crisp and succinct, with no trace of mushiness (I hope that made sense). This brew would be incredible with bratwurst or a bold pasta dish(hmmmm...maybe I should cook my brats in this brew...). Great brew, and I like the little sayings included on the inside of the bottle cap. The aroma is the clincher. Nice bitterness and balance. Added bonus, I’ve been seeing this around a bit so it can be a quick pick up favorite. hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA

It pours into my favorite glass caramel like, with a full white, maybe off white head that stick around a while. The flavor is outstandingly citrusy and hoppy, with a little lovely bitterness in the background hidden by the subtle sweetness of the malts. And the beer is incredibly smooth... no harshness.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Pours a cloudy orange with a one finger head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is pine and citrus hops. Taste is primarily piney hops but there is enough grapefruit there to keep it refreshing and give a little pleasant sweetness. Not as resiny as some other piney IPAs. Mouthfeel is nice, not too clingy. Very drinkable IPA. Not my favorte, but very good. beerbrat99 (119), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nice head with very pleasant hop nose. Hints of tangerine, grapfuit and some pine. Nice floral notes throughout the entire sampling. Pleasant malt balance with a slight sweetness in the finish to wash away the bitterness. Moderate alcohol level for IPA. A very quaffable IPA that I imagine enjoying year round now. A nice beer from the Widmer Bros!
