| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2006 From bottle bought at a store somewhere between Portland and Ashland, OR. Clear, filtered crisp appearance. Small, white minimal head. Low head retention. Sweet, subdued hop aroma. SRM is very light, very appropriate for the style. Flowery, grapefruit, mango hop flavor with a solid back-of-the tongue hop bitterness. Sweet and caramel, but not so sweet that is lays on your tongue. I’d really like to try this with lower carbonation on hand pump. A bit commercial, a bit sanitized, but as a result it’s balanced, damn tasty and drinkable. Better than you might expect from wheat beer fanatics. Good! mjg74 (1998), La Mesa, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 19, 2007 Bottle from BevMo. Medium amber/golden colored upon pouring. Some sweet citric hoppy qualities in the nose. Decent hoppiness. Some bready qualities. Drinkable IPA with decent bitterness. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 27, 2006 Bottle. Pours golden with moderate carbonation, minimal head. Aroma is light piney hops, slight sweetness. Palate is dominated by citrus and piney hops, Cascade and Columbus in the description is correct. Solid bitterness, creates a sort of bite to the finish along with slight metallics. Widmer house flavor to this. Very traditional PNW IPA. Linc (736), Sydney, Australia
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2007 Nothing outstanding about this beer, but there is a good citrus hop character, fairly fat malt. The malt it probably a bit too caramelly, makes the mouthfeel a bit heavy. But it’s all cool, no complaints really. fly (1332), austin, Tejas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2007 It are otay. I may even like it. I may like it far better when it’s on sale or free, but still. It sure as hell isn’t my favorite IPA, but for one that’s now given an affiliation with AB, I suppose that not fully sucking should be equated as a most positive thing? That I’ve had probably a case of this or more and still not seen fit to give this any deeper thought sheds light on my feeling that it rates no better than a middle of the road IPA. See: good if on sale .... kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA

Flavor is all cascade up front with a very sweet lemon malt. Finish is watery and slightly hoppy. leitrim65 (398), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 19, 2006 Pours an amber color with a medium white head. Nose is weak but managed to pick up some citrus notes. Smooth and medium bodied with good citrus hop flavoring throughout. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Clear golden honey appearance with a decent film of a white head with some sticky lacing. Crisp and peppery on the tongue, spicy and lively, but not really the right IPA for me, lacking juiciness, lacking that dank grassy and juicy character that I really like. Still, not a terrible IPA, but there’s some bland metallic notes that are pretty annoying. Finishes fairly bland and empty. Starts well, doesn’t end well.
