Juicy candied citrus and pine hop aromatics. Citric metallic, tropical fruit, and lemongrass hop flavors up front. Unobstrusive caramel malt base balances a bracing herbal bitterness. Lingering vegetal hop components, some bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is a light medium, somewhat dry. darbish (81), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nice and bitter, but not so much to keep you from enjoying it. The description lists a citrus flavor, and while this is definitely true, the flavor is subtle and gives the beer a refreshing taste. Recommended for sure. psbrewlvr (15), Palm Springs, California, USA

Pith of grapefruit dominates the nose. This is about as much hops as I can enjoy. Stays sharp and refreshing as it warms. Malts recede. Pretty well exemplifies the style for me, and I like it. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2007 This is a really good India pale ale. Its definetly a grapefruit flavored beer. The flavor is bold and big. Not as bitter as some ipa’s, so if thats your thing, you might want to look here. Its internation bitterness unit scale(IBUscale) is up there in the 40s no doubt. hayduke (1664), Eureka, California, USA

I like my IPA’s just a little more hopped, but this one is still not bad at all. Poured a cloudy gold with a medium white head and average lacing. Nice citrus and floral nose with a little bit of a grassy touch, and a great mouthfeel. Nice bitter finish. Really well balanced and quite drinkable and refreshing. Garbbled (23), Oregon, USA
