mar (592), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 3, 2008 pale gold color with a 1 finger off white head. not a bad hop scent that is a tiny citrusy. a very toned down hop profile that doesn’t get bitter until the beer finishes. fairly decent ipa here.
SamGamgee (585), Santa Cruz, California, USA Oct 4, 2008 12oz bottle. Clear light amber with a lasting head. Good hoppy aroma, with grapefruit, herb, and sap notes. The flavor has a nice hop profile, with citrus leanings. Lean and dry malts. Pretty balanced, with no abrasive bitterness. Light body for an IPA, with smooth carbonation. Easy-drinking IPA, but pretty solid. Hawksfan17 (655), Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 20, 2008 This orange amber pour has a floral hops aroma. This brings out a nice bitter yet drinkable taste in the flavor. rthbass (26), Vancouver, Washington, USA Sep 13, 2008 Great all around. Nice floral and citrus hop flavor and aroma. Similar to a Bridgeport but still unique in itself. Pretty widely available. A solid beer. stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 11, 2008 For Widmer Breweries a great IPA, full flavor and bitter. Nothing exciting, though Halo is supposed to be astounding. A great cheap drink. swillguzzler99 (16), Glendale, Arizona, USA Sep 10, 2008 Pours a clear golden amber with minimal head. Nose is of hops typical of an IPA. Taste is bitter with lingering aftertaste. It remains bitter for too long. Other IPAs finish quicker than this one. Still better than just about any macro.
