hotstuff (3018), Indiana, USA Feb 1, 2008 Draft at Widmer Brothers BC, Portland, OR. Ivory head that was mostly lasting, next to no lacing, no carbonation observed, transparent, and an orange hue. Nose was malty, hoppy and some caramel notes. Flavor was bitter, malty, hoppy, and some caramel. Smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium body. Quaffable brew and worthy of a try. thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 4, 2007 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated copper colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy malty and dough. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and caramel. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Skyview (2657), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 17, 2007 On draught at the Widmer brewpub in downtown Portland. Sampled during ABA Beer Tour 07. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of caramel malt, tropical fruit and some flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, very lightly carbonated with flavors of light caramel malt, pitted fruit, some peach and a touch of citrus. Finish is light, crisp with a dry citrus aftertaste.
