On tap at Widmer Gasthaus in Portland, OR--Poured a hazy copper-orange-golden body with a small wispy white head. Full banana clove nose with some sweet earthy notes. Great essence and bold rounded mouth feel. Very enjoyable and smooth. I really liked this beer. One of Widmer’s best yet.

On tap at the 2007 Holiday Ale Festival. Pours golden orange with a soft white head. Big banana and clove nose. Sweet honey and wheat flavor up front, enough to give a solid warmth to it, balanced out by a big spicy estery finish. If it were a touch crisper in the finish it would lend to the drinkability, felt a bit flat for me, but still a nice beer.
