| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 20, 2009 the color after the pour is a cloudy amber with no head but streaked laceing along the side walls of the glass. The nose is very floral and full of hop aroma with some hints of lemon grass and other citric notes. The initial flavor is nice and bitter and it bites your tongue. Then there is hints of caramle malt and other grains finishing it clean and refreshing with the right amount of carbonation. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA

Aroma: Nose is dominated by citrus, some pine, some bread, some wood, smell is pretty hop dominant
Appearance: Mostly clear orange-amber color, small head, light lacing
Flavor: Not as hoppy as the nose, starts off with malty sweetness, and the hoppiness increases in the finish
Palate: Medium body, decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression:
I really liked the nose on this one, and it was pretty solid, but I felt just a little let down by the taste coming off a really nice nose. KajII (50), Macon, North Carolina, USA

The aroma was that of citrus, hops and malts. Tasted quite hoppy for a pale ale with a nice citrus mallty flavor. Mouthfeel was exquisite and left a nice hoppy flavor in your mouth. Overall a nice APA.
