| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with ditmier. Pours a clear amber with a moderate off-white head that started disappearing immediately and was reduced to an uneven film after the first sip. Very pleasant aroma of orange and grapefruit along with some pine. The flavor unfortunately, does not follow the aroma. There is weak malt up front followed by equally weak pine and citrus. Medium bitterness at the finish. pintocb (520), Darsville, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 4, 2009 Light amber in color. Damn, that’s some citrus and pine I smell! Wasn’t expecting that. The flavor is a little malty, followed by an explosion of citrus. Better yet, I got this at the grocery store in my one stoplight town. I think I have my new session beer! hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 4, 2009 Bottle… Pours clear and amber with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Earthy, cat piss and pine needle aroma with afterthoughts of peach and grapefruit. Light to medium-bodied with relaxed carbonation. Almost perfectly balanced - leans a touch on the bitter side. Crisp, dry finish. wheelz843 (211), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Draft at Beer Bourbon and BBQ Festival in Richmond VA on 5-30-09. Amber bodied. Aroma is hoppy with toasted malt, citrus fruits, light cocoa and spices. Very odd aroma for a pale ale. Taste is hoppy with more toasted malt, caramel, and spicy and earthy notes. Light toffee as well. Body is creamy due to the carbonation feel but medium overall. Ends with spicy hops, more sweet and toasted malt, and toffee. Different but drinkable. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2009 Bottle: The aroma has citrus notes with moderate peach and mild grapefruit. It pours a transparent amber with a small soapy off-white head. The flavor starts fruity with moderate citrus flavors with peach and apricot. The finish has mild grapefruit presence with a lightly fruity aftertaste. Light-medium bodied with soft carbonation...a solid Pale Ale and session beer. unclemattie (2446), Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 27, 2009 12oz bottle. Reddish copper color, light tan head. Heavy aroma of hop florals and citrus. I can already see that this is a truly unique American Pale Ale. Hints of chocolate malt in the nose as well. Flavor is sweet malt of caramel and light milk chocolate. Calming, crisp and refreshing hop flavors. Creamy texture. Light to medium bodied. Again, very unique overall. Distinctive hop character like no other beer, complimenting the full flavored malt background. Very drinkable. I could do this beer often!
