Citrusy hops dominate the character and make this big hoppy beer more palatable for summer. Has a good bready backbone, a hint of caramel sweetness, and a surpisingly clean finish. This beer was bottled three weeks ago and the freshness of the hops is undeniable. Not uber complex; then again, it doesn’t have to be. It’s quaffable and tasty and all gone. phishpond417 (1946), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Bright copper colour. Clear with a medium sized white head. Aroma is immediately hopped, soft pine, floral and citrus notes all over the nose. Taste is light, creamy and nice and hoppy. With some noticeable caramel undertones. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2009 Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is pretty strong right away of the citrus hops. Citrus hops really smack you in the face on this one. Not much balance for and APA. Dry finish with a somewhat odd aftertaste. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 9, 2009 Clear amber pour with a foamy head. Pretty standard pale ale aroma of citrus hops and caramel malt. Flavor includes nice amounts of both as well. A bit thin, but refreshing. Decent six pack pale. Palidor19 (1773), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 7, 2009 Bottle. Aroma is malt and grapefruit, slightly sweet. Amber body, off-white head. Flavor is distinctively grapefruit, but not the usual bitter grapefruit of an IPA. Instead, it’s moderately sweet pink grapefruit, and also hints of lime and other fruits. Lengthy fruity malt finish. Excellent. PorterPounder (3137), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 5, 2009 Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarket - 12 oz bottle.Nice dark copper pour with a soft, white, quickly fading head. Nice fragrant aroma with strong, fresh sprucey notes - hint of flowers as well. Flavor is crisp and hoppy with some juicy grapefruit notes, resiny hop notes, sugar sweetness and just a hint of maple syrup. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky and about the right thickness for the style. Duly impressed. Gypsy19 (628), California, USA
