Malt flavors were husky, with a bit of sweetness that made me think of watered-down caramel and nuts. A bit woodsy, too. Fruity and plant-like hops. Mild bitterness. OK for a session beer, just not very exciting. Alcohol his hidden dangerously well. Swalden28 (1512), McKinney, Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 24, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured into my favorite tulip beer glass. Pours a crisp copper color with a nice, persistent off white head that laces my glass. Nose is full of flowery hops with a twist... is it freshly cut hay? Taste is very nice. Plenty of hops and a good balance. The finish is odd. Not odd=bad, but really odd = pretty good, but strange. Overall, this is a very sessionable beer. GandGKevin (194), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2009 Sampled on 2/21/09. This American pale Ale pours a orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is floral and citrusy with some caramel malt. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and citrusy. Nice balance. Kind of a standard brew pub Pale Ale. The bitterness seems a little subdued. Might be a little under carbonated. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
