Much more citrus flavors than most pales with less malt taste.Kinda thin. Rynoplasty (544), Louisville, Kentucky, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2009 How often does one find a brew that starts out decent and then progressively sinks to the depths of the Devils Mill hopper. Well, here is one. We start out with a dark amber pour, crisp and clean. No lacing, no mushroom cloud of a head. Taste is caramel, bitter, and rather open. That "taste" is definitely there, and I was like OOOOO summit hops. Yum! Well, first few sips are rather enjoyable. Even a bit chewy. Bitter rounds off nice. As we get 3 inches into this brew it tends to water out. The impact of the hops dissipates and increasingly becomes thin and uninspired. Not too sure what happened. I think it’s an excellent direction, just please fix that rising water influence:) stchloe (491), Portland, Oregon, USA

Just blah, a little bit hoppier than others but not much. Good for slug bait. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Pours a nice golden orange with medium white head. Aroma surprisingly mild of citrus and slightly floral hops, decent malt, and not a lot else. Flavor matches and makes for a refreshing, although boring, brew. jredmond (1057), New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 19, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear golden amber body with slight white lacing. Aroma is cleaning supplies and hops. The taste is actually not bad at all. Smooth, balanced with nice hop flavor. Aroma a little weird. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 17, 2009 12oz bottle obtained at the local Hannaford, bottled on 4-10-2009. Pours a crystal-clear dark amber body with a very short-lived quarter inch of off-white head. Smells very citrussy and pithy, grapefruit and lemon come to mind. Lemon hits the palat first, with a fair bit of grapefruit and hints of pith in tow. A reasonable amount of caramel malt helps to balance the hops, with hints of breadiness too. Smooth light to medium body with moderate to low carbonation. Very very drinkable, even for the style. Simple and balanced, some may well view this as a bit pedestrian. But nonetheless it’s a solid APA and much better than I expected.
