Deep amber color, small brown head. Sweaty hoppy and strawberry aroma. Quite light palate after strong nose. Strawberry sweetness, some bready hops. Some tropical fruits, a bit like having Nelson Sauvin used in here also (but it has actually Summit). BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 9, 2009 This is another one of those beers that I equate to drinking iced tea with lemon. Lots of piney citrus notes and a chemically sweet malt background. This just tasted aritifical to me. RPillsbury (112), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England

The flavour was not what I was expecting with hops and butterscotch dominating. It has a good finish but it’s unbalanced and the palate is a bit thin. hughie (3061), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 6, 2009 Cask gravity at GBBF ’09. Very hazy amber. Strong grapefruit hoppiness in the aroma, eventually developing a sort of raspberry tang. Taste was quite restrained. Some sweet fruits; apricots perhaps. At the end I picked up dry hay and nettles. emacgee (1888), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 6, 2009 Sits peach amber in the glass with spots of an offwhite head. Nose is rich and fruity, sweet, resinous hops, apricot, nice aroma. Flavor is a bit thin and does not have the depth or appeal of the aroma. Some peanut shell, corn, watery, a bit stale. Wisps of a nice hop character show with some warmth but are short lived and fail to compensate for the original shortcomings of the beer. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Sweet citrus and resiny hop aroma. Sweet caramel flavor with some light citrus and faint resiny hop notes. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Had a draught at a local establishment that arrive with little head retention. Probably sat for a minute or two before finding my table. Its crystal clear amber appearance, coupled with its citrus and slightly floral hop aroma made me want to dive into the pint. A sip affirms the hop character, and reveals a well balanced ale. A bit thin, but refreshingly crisp, this brew is very session worthy.
