Commercial Description:
With its unique citrus character, smooth drinkability, and distinctive hop character, Drifter Pale Ale is truly an original. Brewed with generous amounts of Summit hops, a variety known for their intense citrus flavors and aromas, Drifter has a taste unique to the Pale Ale category. True to style, the bittering hops are perceptible enough to give the beer a crisp, clean, quenching finish, yet also soft enough to keep the beer smooth and balanced. 2006 GABF Silver Medal Winner

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, piney aroma also with peach and citrus. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel. Lightly sweet malts and fresh, fruity hop accents without any major hop bite. Nice and pleasant. 171107

Bright amber colour with a rich head. Woody, grapefruity hop aroma. Fresh, fruity (peach, pear, lime, grapefruit) flavour with mellow bread and breadcrust malt background. Clean, well-balanced, hoppy, refreshing. You want more?

Beautiful amber color. Very nice aroma, hoppy and fruity and with sweet wood resins. The body is quite thin, with some caramel flavor (not much interesting so far), but the hopping is very good: bitter, fruity and resiny, very balanced. Something is missing (the body), but it’s pleasant.
