Commercial Description:
A creamy, flavorful Amber that's smooth and easy to drink. Drop Top is fermented by an American Ale yeast to produce beer with a clean flavor and fruity aroma. The velvet texture is from the use of Honey malt and a touch of milk sugar. The Magnum bittering hops provide soft bitterness, while Simcoe, a newly developed hop variety, adds unique hop flavor and aroma.

(bottle dated MAY2708): Pours an amber reddish color body, clearish. Whitish creamy head, small. Malty, almost spicy aroma. Not nutty, but almost wheaty or something. Malty somewhat sweet taste. Clean aftertaste. Some fizziness. Kinda bland.

Bottle From BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a dark copper with no real head or lacing. Aroma is very faint malty dark grain. Taste is slightly dark roasted malty and quite mellow. Plain but pleasant and finishes with nothing lingering. Watery. Very little hops

Draft at the brewey tap. golden beer wtih a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet matly with light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lighter notes of fruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Amber color, minimal head that dissipated quickly. Slight maltiness on the nose, but little else. Taste was mostly sweet malts, but not pleasant. Light bodied, almost watery, simply not a very interesting beer.

From a 12 bottle, six pack purchased outside Phoenix, AZ. Aroma has a little floral and citrus hops, but not much. Color is a honey amber with a head that dissapated fast. Clear. Flavor malty, a little sweet, but balanced with the hop bitterness. Bready with a little cracker/biscuit in there. Smooth, easy drinking and not heavy. A comment that came to mind is "very non-offensive."
