Commercial Description:
A creamy, flavorful Amber that's smooth and easy to drink. Drop Top is fermented by an American Ale yeast to produce beer with a clean flavor and fruity aroma. The velvet texture is from the use of Honey malt and a touch of milk sugar. The Magnum bittering hops provide soft bitterness, while Simcoe, a newly developed hop variety, adds unique hop flavor and aroma.

From a 12 bottle, six pack purchased outside Phoenix, AZ. Aroma has a little floral and citrus hops, but not much. Color is a honey amber with a head that dissapated fast. Clear. Flavor malty, a little sweet, but balanced with the hop bitterness. Bready with a little cracker/biscuit in there. Smooth, easy drinking and not heavy. A comment that came to mind is "very non-offensive."

Draft at Elmer’s, Roseburg OR; Nose of caramel and light grassy hops; translucent amber with a big, glass lacing, off-white head; flavor is caramel, a peachy fruit note, and very light hop bitterness.

Aroma – Nice amber ale malt aroma with little hops lingering.
Appearance – Amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor – Good malt base this is a simple amber ale for the masses. Very little amber flavor or hops.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This is a mass appeal amber ale nothing more.

Not much into ambers but as far as ambers go... this is the one to have. Iv’e had it on tap and it’s not bad at all. Usually ambers don’t have enough hop presence in them to keep my attension, but this one with the magnums and simcoes is just the right recipie for a good amber. Very impressed. Thank again Brothers!

Not normally a big fan of ambers they are a little too sweet for my tastes. This one is much better than average for the style. Rich malts and enough hops to make it interesting. I’ve had it in the bottle and on tap. Good party brew.

Pours amber with off white head that disipates rather quickly...leaves some lacing. Smell of hay in the aroma. Some sweet matliness in the flavor along with light hops. Easy to drink. Better than the macros, but not at the top of my list.

Draft. Medium amber body, small head, malty nose. Crystal malts, almost like maple syrup, mild bitterness, some hops. Nice.
