Aroma has a little floral and citrus hops, but not much. Color is a honey amber with a head that dissapated fast. Clear. Flavor malty, a little sweet, but balanced with the hop bitterness. Bready with a little cracker/biscuit in there. Smooth, easy drinking and not heavy. A comment that came to mind is "very non-offensive." IrishBoy (2719), Bakersfield, California, USA

Aroma – Nice amber ale malt aroma with little hops lingering.
Appearance – Amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor – Good malt base this is a simple amber ale for the masses. Very little amber flavor or hops.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This is a mass appeal amber ale nothing more.

Iv’e had it on tap and it’s not bad at all. Usually ambers don’t have enough hop presence in them to keep my attension, but this one with the magnums and simcoes is just the right recipie for a good amber. Very impressed.

This one is much better than average for the style. Rich malts and enough hops to make it interesting. I’ve had it in the bottle and on tap. Good party brew. dkingsella (92), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2008 Pours amber with off white head that disipates rather quickly...leaves some lacing. Smell of hay in the aroma. Some sweet matliness in the flavor along with light hops. Easy to drink. Better than the macros, but not at the top of my list. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA
