Pours an amber color with small white head that lasts awhile. this has a lot of carbonation. had a very hoppy aroma with a typical amber taste. easy to drink for a session beer. riversideAK (2761), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 25, 2007 A sweet caramel aroma with some crisp hoppiness. Flavor is more sweetness followed by some pleasant mild bitterness. I also get some vanilla. For some reason I have always thought this beer tasted like OE. Maybe it is the sweetness. This amber ale is also very easy to drink, as I put down a pitcher and proceeded to go home and function properly. It is ok. Better than MBC, but something just doesnt do it for me here. chadje (130), Pasadena, California, USA

Sweeter than most ambers. Had this on tap in Vegas and tasted real good. Poured a nice amber color with a hoppy scent and nice head. Sweet and hoppy beer for an Amber. dyetube (414), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 16, 2007 This beer pours amber with a small tan head. O.k.. this was a decent amber compared to the domestics, but not much more than that. Very nutty malty flavor characteristic of the American ambers, maybe a little more on the hoppy side though. I would drink this beer again but would prefer something else. Cheers! KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours solid amber with a nice ivory head that leaves a stong layer of lacing around the glass. Peachy grapefruit aroma. Flavor is pineapple pear. Watery mouthfeel. Tastes more like cheap pineapple candy than a beer. Tejas (702), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 8, 2007 Draught > Spirit Grill. Clear light amber. No head, no aroma & no lacing. Not sweet and not bitter. Not much body. Bascially, this beer doesn’t have shit. Oh wait, it’s not offensive so I guess I could put many of these away as an alternative to BMC, assuming they’re my only other choices. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Apr 6, 2007 Pours like a new copper penny w/ minimal residual lacing. Froth comes up about a finger high then reduces quite fast. Aroma of crameled malts, biscuits, and burnt rubber. Medium nectar w/ mellow residual effers. Malty w/ a mild sweetness. Very little bittering. Nuances of caramel, hay, biscuits, and burnt rubber. Finish is only slightly bittered. Last thoughts: Not sure about the burnt rubber thing. It did seem to go awayafter she warmed. I can’t say I enjoyed it.
