Commercial Description:
A creamy, flavorful Amber that's smooth and easy to drink. Drop Top is fermented by an American Ale yeast to produce beer with a clean flavor and fruity aroma. The velvet texture is from the use of Honey malt and a touch of milk sugar. The Magnum bittering hops provide soft bitterness, while Simcoe, a newly developed hop variety, adds unique hop flavor and aroma.

light weak malty aroma. Pous a golden brown, thin head. Bland, with a citrus-acid type finish. Not a standout.

I like most of the Widmer beers I have had. This is a good smooth amber. Ok, maybe not the best amber out there, but it works

I think average is a good way to describe this. Very little aroma and a sweet malty body. Good carbonation and a clear orangish color. Nothing offensive or memorable about it.

I was half way through a cigar and and had several other beers by this time. I do remember the hops though! Caught me off guard at first but settled in to a a nice ale.

12oz. Bottle Pours out orange/amber color. Topped of with a off white head. Had some malt to it but not to strong.

I’ve changed my opinion on this as of late. Smells of gym socks and jock straps. Kind of sour, slight smokey flavor. The finish is a nice roasted malt. Not good.

Not easy to drink at all. Difficult in fact. Didnt notice any "fruity" aroma whatsoever. Maybe a step above piss beer. Really no taste at all. Bud with a different label, lol.
