Picked this up as a single bottle at the local liquor store, just to try a new (to me) local brew.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Good Amber Color, pleasent lager aroma.
I was surprised by the well balanced taste. A malty rich flavor that I like in a medium lager, nice light bitterness which is appropriate to the style, and very crisp clean finish. Everything I look for in a session beer.
This is a beer that would pick up again, great for a day in the sun!

Feb 16, 2009 Bottle Pours a clear amber with a off white head. Head lasts fairly well. Has a good aroma of caramel malts a hints of fruit. Has good carbination a crisp mouthfeel. Nice light body. Not too light but not heavy either. Has a good taste. Very well blended. Alcohol is well hidden Has a good finish. A very good beer.

Mar 28, 2008 Real good for the season. Just what you’d expect for the style. Malty and sweet with a nice finish.

Feb 12, 2008 Gotta say...I tried this by absolute chance a few nights ago, and LOVED it.
Great taste and rich color. Very smooth with a very light caramel aftertaste.
I’ve been an avid Yuengling drinker for years, but this may just be changing that. Highly recommended!

Feb 9, 2008 Smooth lager, great palate, which I rarely notice. Easy to drink and you’ll enjoy it as long as you’re not overly picky.

Sep 29, 2007 This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

Sep 14, 2007 amber with medium body and moderate carbonation. lightly fruitpunch with a good caramel malt balance. a clean and refreshing beer with interesting subdued tastes. it is just a touch perfumy and again not overdone. a bit slick in the mouthfeel which complements the frothy kind of mixed carbonation. good

Jun 28, 2007 Bottle. Big malty Märzen nose, caramel and bread with faint lager fruitiness. Orange-copper body, clear with a fizzy beige head. Classic Märzen taste drifting toward a Vienna. Aftertaste is dry and malty with light caramel bitterness and faint flowers for the outro. Body is medium-light, very quaffable and not quite oily. Really nice!
