Picked this up as a single bottle at the local liquor store, just to try a new (to me) local brew.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Good Amber Color, pleasent lager aroma.
I was surprised by the well balanced taste. A malty rich flavor that I like in a medium lager, nice light bitterness which is appropriate to the style, and very crisp clean finish. Everything I look for in a session beer.
This is a beer that would pick up again, great for a day in the sun! Birdiebeagle (787), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA

Great taste and rich color. Very smooth with a very light caramel aftertaste.
I’ve been an avid Yuengling drinker for years, but this may just be changing that. Highly recommended! awwshiz (76), USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2007 Bottle. Big malty Märzen nose, caramel and bread with faint lager fruitiness. Orange-copper body, clear with a fizzy beige head. Classic Märzen taste drifting toward a Vienna. Aftertaste is dry and malty with light caramel bitterness and faint flowers for the outro. Body is medium-light, very quaffable and not quite oily. Really nice!
