Rhasberry and intense honey nose. Honey and grain taste with a slight nice hoppy kick. Smokey in between and all of a sudden it finishes again with a long but light hoppy aftertaste. pivo (2537), Germany

The first thing you notice is that this is a dark larger, like a bock or Märzen: ruddy copper with a low clingy head. Nose of malasses, honey - thick and broad. Caramelly malt with again honey tones. Light spicy end with a lingering bitter. Could have been more hops. Medium body. A little too sweet for me, bot overall decent. Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA

Poured clear amber with a nice puffy head. Malty nose with hints of caramel. Mildly sweet midway through, and finishes with a slight hop bitterness. This one I will buy again, quite good. BeerDude78 (87), Denville, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Sep 1, 2005 Not a bad beer. Pours a beautiful copper color with a extra foamy head. More on the malty side than hoppy. Head pours nice and fluffy and lasts throughtout the whole drink. Overall great Jersey brew. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA

For a cheap lager, this was a fine overall beer. Had a nice balance of malt and hop. A solid brew. skisangelo (60), Collingswood, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 17, 2005 It poured a nice amber color with little head. Smelled mostly of sweet malt with little hop. The taste... Holly Malt! Just a lot of sweet malt going on. Not balanced enough for me. As it sits, I get a little hop flavor. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
