Oct 12, 2008 (bottle) Clear, amber colour with a lacing medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty aroma with notes of toffee and a light nutty touch. Sweet and shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasty and nutty malty taste with caramel/toffee; malt-accented finish with light traces of hoppy bitterness and a whiff of chocolate in the aftertaste. Pleasant (06.X.08).

Dec 5, 2007 Bottle. Light brown colour, low carbonation, almost no head. Malty aroma. Notes of malt, strong note of toffee. Malty finish of average duration. Very goood Landbier.

Jul 28, 2007 Bottle from Der Treffpunkt, Nurnberg HBF. Dark amber with a decent off-white head. Sweet malt nose of buttery caramel. Flavour started malty before a dry bitter finish kicked in. Pleasant.
