Bottle from Kristian (mikkeller). Pours deep brown with and creamy brown head (think chocolate milkshake). Aroma is very roasty, along with some nutshells and perhaps some chocolate milk. Flavor of dried dark fruits, roast, nuts. Strong notes of tobacco mid palate, that carries through to the finish and lingers. Finish also has some alcohol and dryness, and the lager characteristics make an appearance as well.. A decent traditional baltic, but I liked Alderis Porteris better as far as flavor (this has a much better mouthfeel). Do not drink this cold, as the bitterness is unpleasant with the lager yeast.

Bottle. Black color with a beige head. Good complex roasted aroma. Very nice roasted body with notes of chocolate and a light coffee bitterness. Roasted mild palate.

Bottle (thanks rickgordon). Dark brown, small beige head. Heavy roasted malt aroma, dusty, with notes of coffee. Medium to full bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Starts a bit sweet, ends dry with a bit of alcohol shining through.

Bottle at home. Black with a light brown head, fine lacings. Aroma moerate/heavy malty (licorice, roasted/burnt, chocolate), moderate hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, moderate bitter. Almost full bodied, soft carbonated.

Bottle: Tanks to Rickgordon: Dark brown colour, with a thin big brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate,burned coffee beens,lots of malts,and a citric alc nose. Flavor, is werry smooth coffee/Chocolate mouth feeling.Medium to full body, nice long alc bitter finish. Werry NIce!!

Pours a nice light syrupy dark brown almost black with a small foamy beige head. Smooth sweet caramel malts, along with light roast and good nutty dark chocolate with nice smoked meats. More smoke in the flavor compliments the roast and chocolate along with the light dryness in the end. Ok body, moderate mouthfeel, with a good finish. Pretty smooth.

Poured a black color, with no head, just tan bubbles, no lacing. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, dried fruits, with light soy as well. Taste was roasted malts, smoke, chocolate, tobacco, light soy, with a dry, roasted finish. Thin mouthfeel.

(33 cl bottle) Pitch black color, thick brown head. Grainy with some smoke scent, also alcohol. Oily grainy smoke sasuage burnt malt taste. Roasted malt aftertaste. Tick mouthfeel, low bitterness.
