As black as can be, little dark brown head. Aroma has dominating smoke with nice ham and roastiness, mild convenient alcohol and licorice also there. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is more hopped with biting dryness, smoke and strong roastiness also there. Aftertaste lasts with wooden smoke and dries even more with mild alcohol. Excellent beer.

Bottle @ Olbaren, Copenhagen. Black with a light brown head. Moderately aromatic. Smoky, velvety and meaty malts. Nice malt character. Good body. A good beer, but the microbreweries make better beer.

33 cl bottle. Black colour with a light brown head. Aroma of light smoke, roasted barley, also hints of coffee and vanilla. Very tasty flavour of roastedness, coffee and quite bitter finish. Ends up very smooth abd nice. Pretty good for a commercial brewery.

Bottle. Pours almost pitch black with a big, fluffy brown head. Nice lacing. Aroma is sourish with notes of cooked vegetables at first, but quickly gives way for roasted, tar, and barbecue notes. Flavour is sweetish, roasted and oily. Finish is bitter and dryish with remote alcohol notes. Slight grassy notes. Smooth and soft palate. 16-03-07.
