thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 12, 2009 This bottled mead from a bottle shop poured a very small sized head of bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent light yellow colored body. The aroma was sweet and like bees wax. The semi-sweet dry mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild honey. There are much better meads out there. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA May 16, 2009 bottle at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours clear yellow and has a nice flowery honey aroma. The sweet honey flavor puts this one firmly in the dessert category. It’s not complex, but it’s enjoyable for what it is. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA Nov 17, 2007 Sample at West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago. Clear light to medium yellow color. Honey sweet, nice citrus orange hop. Very sweet honey flavor orange, green grape but not tart or sharp like green grapes can be. Sticky, medium to full body. Nice warming, sweet mead. Ernest (4481), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 6, 2007 Bottle. No head (still). Body is slightly clear light yellow. Aroma is notes of apple, apple skin, honey. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Medium to full body, syrupy texture, flat carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Too much apple in the nose for my tastes (unintended acetaldehyde?), smells like it was spiked with cider. Ok otherwise. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 6, 2007 Mead is clear, light, pale yellow without any head. The aroma is light honey, sake, trace oak, moderate apple pie filling. The flavor is heavily sweet, lightly bitter, with a long, spicy, moderately sweet, lightly acidic finish. The body is medium, the texture is watery-syrupy and the carbonation is still.<P>Pleasant and clean, but more apple than honey. MIBRomeo (1962), Wisconsin, USA Jun 26, 2006 Clear yellow nice leg
Some light floral notes under honey & a light perfume style aroma
Good coat light though
Seet honey hints of a light berry & perfume like component w.a dry finish
Ok
frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA May 23, 2006 A pale pear-yellow with tiny particulate and faint effervescence. This mead’s first impression is vinous with the honey revealing first in the flavor (I took the label’s advice and chilled it... against my better judgment. I’ve found I prefer my meads warm.) Additional aromas are sour and sweaty. Flavor is a nice cross between honey and wine, but its focus is too tart and acidic. Finishes dry with a sweet & sour aftertaste above a touch of gin.
Wine drinkers may find this exciting; beer drinkers may find it odd; mead drinkers will find it too thin and vinous.

RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 19, 2005 This "Mead" looks gorgious, with a pretty peach blush and perfect clarity. One sniff and you know this is going to be a dessert drink...(HONEY!!!) Way too sweet for my tastes! And if I knew it was an aphrodisiac that was going to arouse my passions, I don’t think I would have sampled it while I was home alone! Oh well...I guess I could use the practice!
