Commercial Description:
Not suited for timid or reserved beer drinkers, Wild Blue’s defining taste characteristic is its kick of natural blueberry flavor. The Blue Dawg Brewing team carefully selected a blend of hops and barley malt to ensure they complemented and balanced Wild Blue’s dominant blueberry notes, resulting in a robust and aromatic beer with a refreshing, palate-cleansing finish. Wild Blue is brewed with a blend of German hops from the Hallertau region in Bavaria and classic Aroma hops from the Willamette Valley in the Pacific Northwest. A combination of two- and six-row barley malt also was chosen specifically for this recipe. Beer lovers will appreciate this specialty fruit-infused lager’s striking burgundy color, ripe blueberry aroma and its ability to stand up to the strongest of foods.

Burgandy beer, with practically no head. Lots of carbonation. Smells like fruit punch. Tastes like a wine cooler with balls. Flavor is morefruit punch than blueberry. Mouthfeel is like an average run of the mill moderately high carbonated american pale lager. The finish reminds me of wine, not beer. At 8%, none is detectable. Probablly the nextbig pantie dropper at colleges all across America. Commercial description is completely fraudulent and deviod of any reality.

Poured a deep purple color with a deep pink head. Thick lacing on the glass. Looks like cough syrup and tastes like cough syrup. AB should stay away from micro beers, this is a terrible attepmt at a fruit based beer.

Pours a rich purple color with light pink head. Aroma is abundant with blueberries and not much else. Lacks complexity and balance is it’s overtly sweet. Meh.

Purple body with pinkish head... strong berry flavor, not a typical fruit beer, but refreshing... Decent fruit beer for AB, who would have thought?? I love this beer in the summer time... goes down smooth, quick and easy... had to buy a case...

Best stuff I’ve had from AB actually leaves a lacing on the glass does remind me of carbonated grape Kool Aide not much on traditional beer taste and you can’t taste the alcohol but you can sure feel it.
