Commercial Description:
Duckwheat Hefeweizen: Dark straw yellow in color with amber hues, this Pacific Northwest version of a classic German-style wheat beer is the perfect introduction to microbrewed beer. Lightly hopped with imported Czech Saaz, German Tettnanger and Hersbrucker hops, the clean brew starts light on the palate and is both thirst quenching and refreshing

Medium gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet. A medium bodied hefeweizen. Malts are fruity and slightly sweet. Hops are slightly spicy and mild. Not your typical hefe, it has a lot of hop bite to it and not much of the banana and clove flavor. Nice balance. Smooth flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is slightly bitter.

Mildly opaque, straw colored and a tiny white head. Light and zesty nose, wheat and some sewwt fruitiness. Light, refreshing and clean. Pretty wel hopped, but hey it is the PNW. Nice, well drawn out finish. Lively carbonation and just a bit of cloying.
