Batch # 666 - Amazingly tasty, and it is no surprise that this one has held up as well as it has. Has some very fragrant floral hop aromas, some wood and just a bit of mustiness, but I can imagine just from the age, and perhaps improper storage. The most amazing thing about this beer is the finish and the after palate. You will remember drinking this beer long after you have swallowed. Great spicy bitterness, with layers upon layers of bittersweet maltiness. Delicious.

serious alcohol and hop aroma, dark ruby with a tightly packed tan head, very woody with a lot of bitterness, slightly light bodied, a nice long lasting sticky/hop finish

Dark red color. Medium head. Aroma is roasted malt. Full bodied “Imperial” Red. Malts are nutty, sweet and fruity. Hops are spicy and slightly floral. Extremely smooth. The only hint of the 13.3% alcohol is in the fact that’s a belly warmer, Nice, very flavorful beer. Complex flavors. Another in the style of the “Imperial” variety. Nicely executed a very nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, slight trace of an alcohol bite.
