Jul 24, 2003 Black color. Medium head. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate. A med/full bodied porter. Malts are chocolate and coffee. Hops are spicy. Nice smooth porter. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Feb 27, 2003 Rusty orange hue to the real dark body. A nice tight tan head. Well roasted and chocolatey, smells very inviting. Smooth and creamy with some floral tones in there. Good body, fills mouth well. really dry and somewhat burnt, mildly effervescent palate, good clean up.
