Flavor wasn't the best i've had but was quite good. Decent offering from Wild Goose Dorwart (1815), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 2, 2003 Thin head with good carbonation. Head last for a while. Color is a deep copper. Aroma is interesting. I detect peppermint, malt and hops. Body is a little thin but flavorful and well balnced between the malts and hops. Finish is slightly bitter. A decent amber ale. jeffc666 (1892), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 21, 2003 Sparkling clear, amber beer. Small, fizzy, khaki head.
Smells sweet (honey) and malty and vineous, but without any real body in the artificial-esque aroma.
Sweet on the tongue. Chewy, but no real flavor to go with the texture and malt. Medium-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Dryish, very astringent finish.

Plenty of complex maltiness with a nice hoppy blitz. Not cloying at all. Very smooth. Sturgess (173), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Malt's were definentely nice and spicy! happy4hops (369), Bel Air, Maryland, USA

The taste was somewhat of a let down, the powerful maltieness was in there, but as were some sour hops that didnt mix very well with the malt. Still the malt made it ok, but far from great.
