Commercial Description:
Classic English-style amber ale with a full, malty body and a robust hop flourish. Its rich copper color comes from British Crystal and Chocolate malts. The round maltiness is perfectly balanced with a spicy blend of Williamette, Hallertauer, Tettnang, and Cascade hops.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange-copper with an average size mostly-lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, light Fuggles hops, a hint of chocolate and a bit of buttery toffee. Flavour of light caramel malt, Fuggles hops, grain, buttery toffee and an average bitter finish. Medium bodied. Decent enough, it’s kind of "English-style", I liked it.

Bottle. Pours a copper body with a creamy, light, off-white head. Aroma of vanilla, cookie dough, sugar, and bready caramel notes. Tastes a bit raw and bready - not overly flavourful. A somewhat sweet and toasty generic palate.

Smells light and hoppy. Pours a dark copper color with a small thin white head. Taste is a little watery but thick and malty. Slight coffee/chocolate malt flavor. Nice and dark amber.

Bottle (12oz). Deep clear copper, decent frothy off-white head, nice lacing. MUCH nicer aroma than their IPA - nice roast, pine/resin hops - nice for an amber, like TF light. The taste - meh, grain, very weak hops (nothing like the nose), nice dry finish. Lightly chewy body, dry, a whisper of astringency, not much carbonation - quick finish, dry lightly bitter aftertaste. Decent.

Light caramel aroma. Copper/ochre color, thin off white head. The taste is a little woody, but rather weak. A little buttery in the end when warm. Clean and good quality, but just very weak. Wanting in hops. Despite my rating, I like it, I ’m just craving more hops in this one. Is there such a thing as a beer apertif???

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.
