Commercial Description:
Classic English-style amber ale with a full, malty body and a robust hop flourish. Its rich copper color comes from British Crystal and Chocolate malts. The round maltiness is perfectly balanced with a spicy blend of Williamette, Hallertauer, Tettnang, and Cascade hops.

This amber ale pours a medium amber gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head, which dissipates slowly. Aroma is toffee and caramel, slightly fruity and hoppy. Medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity and sweet, caramel and toffee. Hops are floral and spicy. Good balance. A biscuty and floral amber. Lively carbonation. Not bad at all. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Very nice orange ruby color. Quality hard candy aroma. Some noticeable carbonation but fairly flat. Mild refined hop bitterness that’s less than many pilsners. Finish is slightly wet wood that has a medium length bitter impression.

12 oz bottle from sample case. Poured a nice amber color. Nice taste with a lot of flavor, but has a heavy water taste (iron?) which is ok being from western PA. Smooth finish with good aftertaste.

Bottle. Buttery caramel malt aroma. Dark amber with small head. Sharp acidic and bitter flavor up front with a light buttery malt flavor to finish. Get a matallic aftertaste - tastes like water softener water for the few that actually might understand that analogy. Decent but the metallic flavor kind of messed it up for me.

pours a copper amber with a one finger off white light tan head. aroma is caramel malt and some hops. has a light to medium body with ok lacing and good carbonation. flavor is roasted caramel malt with some hops and a little nutty characteristic. has a little bite from the hops and a little dry hop aftertaste. not bad. has a small apple flavor as well and a little chocolate aroma and flavor. aroma and flavor get a little better as it warms. kind of an amber/esb and the hops come out a bit more flavor and aroma wise.

pours a clear brownish/amber under a large creamy light tan head. aroma of nutty roasted malts, and toffee. flavor is slightly bitter with a caramel, and peanut brittle flavor. not a bad amber.
