Reddish gold pour with minimal beige head and smooth, sweet, low carbonated taste.
Easy to drink. God save me from beer that is hard to drink. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA

As I guessed from the aroma a tad on the thin side. I did like the rather soft carboantion. I split a pitcher of Bud with the wife last night. This beer is better than the king was. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2007 Bottle - very nice sweet malt aroma. Beautiful deep amber color with a beige head. Flavor is not as sweet as the aroma hinted and is actually quite dry, but I could not identify any hop flavor characteristics. I do get a slight cider note as well. Slightly fizzy. Good. tronraner (1917), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 12, 2007 Bottle. Pours dark copper with thin, tight ivory head. The aroma is caramel, crackers, some earthy spice. The flavor is light caramel, some biscuit, and some light zesty hops. The finish is toasty. The mouthfeel is kind of carbonated, and leaves a seltzer-like aftertaste. melvin980 (184), Pennsylvania, USA

Its’ rather pointless to to try to deconstruct a beer like this. It was in a variety pack, it didn’t suck, but I can’t think of a single reason to order this in a bar or buy an entire sixer of this. Turambar (11), Maryland, USA
