Commercial Description:
Classic English-style amber ale with a full, malty body and a robust hop flourish. Its rich copper color comes from British Crystal and Chocolate malts. The round maltiness is perfectly balanced with a spicy blend of Williamette, Hallertauer, Tettnang, and Cascade hops.

My first sampling of Wild Goose and I’m impressed so far with the brewery from Frederick, MD. Reddish gold pour with minimal beige head and smooth, sweet, low carbonated taste. Easy to drink. God save me from beer that is hard to drink.

Not a bad beer no off aroma’a or flavors. Almost sweet next to no bitter but a tad. As I guessed from the aroma a tad on the thin side. I did like the rather soft carboantion. I split a pitcher of Bud with the wife last night. This beer is better than the king was.

Bottle - very nice sweet malt aroma. Beautiful deep amber color with a beige head. Flavor is not as sweet as the aroma hinted and is actually quite dry, but I could not identify any hop flavor characteristics. I do get a slight cider note as well. Slightly fizzy. Good.

Bottle. Pours dark copper with thin, tight ivory head. The aroma is caramel, crackers, some earthy spice. The flavor is light caramel, some biscuit, and some light zesty hops. The finish is toasty. The mouthfeel is kind of carbonated, and leaves a seltzer-like aftertaste.

aight. same malts as the wild goose IPA, I think. The difference between the two is that this one has less hops, which is a shame.

Oh Amber Ales, how you vex me so... Its’ rather pointless to to try to deconstruct a beer like this. It was in a variety pack, it didn’t suck, but I can’t think of a single reason to order this in a bar or buy an entire sixer of this.

Pours nice medium red-brown a very light tan head. Tastes of malt and slightly nutty. Not bad overall.

Pours an amber brown coppery color with a frosty medium sized white head. Toffee, nuts, caramel and malt are detected in the aroma. Has a slightly spicy woody taste to it with detections of malt, figs, caramel, and dark brown burnt sugar. Very carbonated. Not bad.
