Had me asking myself, "Where did the head go?" Toffee aroma, medium body and caramel flavor. This amber beer was quickly lost in shuffle.... Ungstrup (15323), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 12, 2006 A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of flowers and citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and flower, leading to a lightly bitter end. And the body is thin. Boring. nimbleprop (922), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 29, 2006 Mine poured a murky copper/brown with almost no white head. Initial aroma is gentle and hoppy. Taste surprises at first, malty, hoppy and sweet with fruit and caramel notes. Clean, slightly soapy finish. A pleasant surprise. Braudog (3770), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Nice sweet malt in the lager style. Bit of apple, maybe. Good session beer. Retried from a bottle, 3/16/2007: Pretty much the same impression, but down-rated a bit. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2006 Pours clear copper with a well formed head of off-white.
Malt dominates the aroma, but leaves a bit of hop coming through.
Subdued sweet malt flavor with a pleasing dryness that makes up the finish. Decent. KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA

Some serious malt characteristic but not in an overpowering kind of way. I enjoyed this Maryland beer, which can’t be said for a few other Frederick Breweing Co. offerings. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 21, 2006 12oz bottle pours amber with a short offwhite head that fades quick. Aromas of caramel, and bread and some light grassy hops. Flavor is caramel, orange, some apricot, a touch of raisin even. Definite earthy feel about this one. Medium bodied, low carbonated, with a lingering sweet fruity finish.
