Commercial Description:
Classic English-style amber ale with a full, malty body and a robust hop flourish. Its rich copper color comes from British Crystal and Chocolate malts. The round maltiness is perfectly balanced with a spicy blend of Williamette, Hallertauer, Tettnang, and Cascade hops.

A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of flowers and citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and flower, leading to a lightly bitter end. And the body is thin. Boring.

Sparkling clear, amber beer. Small, fizzy, khaki head. Smells sweet (honey) and malty and vineous, but without any real body in the artificial-esque aroma. Sweet on the tongue. Chewy, but no real flavor to go with the texture and malt. Medium-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Dryish, very astringent finish.

bottle courtesy of sloth. Pours brown with a white head. Smells of perfume, oranges, some light spice. Tastes of citrus and has some tarte hints on the finish.

So, this is what an "English-style amber ale" (according to the Brewer) tastes like... I don’t know what that means. It has a very fruity nose, apples & cherries, along with some herbal hop aromas. And it is amber, along with a slender white head. The creamy brew has a rich, caramel malt flavor supported by a generrous doage of earthy, herbal hops. Quite tasty.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a large frothy off-white head that diminished slowly. Medium sweet hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate sweet balanced flavor with a small bitter finish of short duration.

This is an above-average amber ale. Pours copper, with malt, hop, and toffee aroma. Tastes malty, with hops, caramel, and fruitiness in the finsih.

12 ounce bottle served in standard pint glass: Pours a clean medium amber hue topped by a fading fizzy head and some lacing. The aroma has notes of toffee and caramelized malting, prune, aromatic hops, and a hint of earthy esters. The taste is a straight forward blend of sweet malt and quickly fading grassy hops. A touch of spice is found on the aftertaste but showed little depth. The mouth feel is moderately creamy but seems to get a bit boring after awhile, is dryer on the finish that expected. Okay, a passable brew, you could do worse.
