| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 21, 2003 Sparkling clear, amber beer. Small, fizzy, khaki head.
Smells sweet (honey) and malty and vineous, but without any real body in the artificial-esque aroma.
Sweet on the tongue. Chewy, but no real flavor to go with the texture and malt. Medium-bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Dryish, very astringent finish.

I don’t know what that means. It has a very fruity nose, apples & cherries, along with some herbal hop aromas. And it is amber, along with a slender white head. The creamy brew has a rich, caramel malt flavor supported by a generrous doage of earthy, herbal hops. Quite tasty.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 3, 2006 12 ounce bottle served in standard pint glass: Pours a clean medium amber hue topped by a fading fizzy head and some lacing. The aroma has notes of toffee and caramelized malting, prune, aromatic hops, and a hint of earthy esters. The taste is a straight forward blend of sweet malt and quickly fading grassy hops. A touch of spice is found on the aftertaste but showed little depth. The mouth feel is moderately creamy but seems to get a bit boring after awhile, is dryer on the finish that expected. Okay, a passable brew, you could do worse.
