Aroma: Slight malts, some grass
Appearance: Cloudy yellow, orange
Flavor: Hoppy, slightly bitter, bit of a strangeness that’s hard to place
Palate: Dry, a bit difficult to properly describe
Overall Impression:
This one was alright at first, but it didn’t work exactly right. A little to dry, and missing something that cost it a few points. Aftertaste leaves something to be desired for sure.

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Mar 24, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours an orange gold with a foamy white head. The head is quick to fade but leaves a bit of lacing. Decent malt and hop aromas. Citrus, honey, and some grass in the nose. Medium carbonation with a dry, chalky mouthfeel. The bitterness is a bit overpowering at first. The malt sweetness finally comes through, but that bitterness lasts just a bit too long. Light cracker, grain notes and a touch of malt sweetness on the palate. Kind of bitter and tasteless. This is not their best beer. PorterPounder (3138), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
