Flavor was not as good, a bit weak as I drank it. Light enough to enjoy drinking on a nice warm day. bochi23 (90), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 25, 2007 This one smelled better than it tasted. It was really light on the hops and the finish was weak. I had big hopes for this one when I got it and was disappointed. tronraner (1934), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

The aroma is toast, pepper, zest, and gets maltier as it warms. The flavor is grapefruit and pepper, toasty malt, lemony finish, kind of sweet aftertaste. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Pours a clear copper orange with a spotty-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of sweet earthy caramel malt with a touch of mild piny hops. Fairly full body starts faintly sweet with a touch of adjuncts and a drier bitter finish, but not much flavoring hops. This one’s off a bit, but could be good with some recipe tweaks. decaturstevo (2007), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 17, 2007 A clear deep gold pour with a big white head and almost no lace. An aroma of light malt and not much hops. A flavor that isn’t a bad flavor. It seems to have an alcohol taste that allows a little malt to creep in but it then fades back to alcohol. Not enough bitter for an ipa but it is kind of a lingering bitter. Not bad but lacking in balance. Palate has a little to much fizz and is a tad thin. Suttree (2742), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 3, 2007 Considering the other Wild Goose beers I’d had up to this point, I was surprised how harsh this was. Or maybe my taste bud had been lulled to sleep at this point. Anyway, timid aroma but a sweetish grapefruit hop bite. Easy to drink.
