| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 12, 2005 Dehydrated urine color to it. Aroma is very much like ones breath the day after throwning up. Tastes like a mouthful of grass with few hops. Not very bitter, gives a rotten vegetable feel. A fan, I am not. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2005 This bottled brew poured a small sized head of white colored finely sized foamy mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a good lacing and a softly carbonated slightly hazy light orange brown colored body. The aroma contained mild dirty sock notes. The mouth feel was initially tingly and it lingered throughout the finish with a mild hop bite. The flavor was mildly hoppy and malty with a mild caramel malt note to it. hershiser2 (914), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2005 $1.49 for a 12-oz single. Appearance: light amber, lighter than most IPAs I drink. Small head. Smell: Very little aroma at all. Slightly hoppy, slight grapefruit. Not enough of anything in the nose to give this a good rating. Flavor is thin, with definite hops, but finishes with a coppery blandness. Light bodied and kinda boring. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2005 This IPA was clean, nothing special but not as bad as it is rated. Had it at a baseball game in Baltimore. Pretty balanced and not overwhelming on the hop end, I’m not too experienced with East Coast IPA’s, but this was good enough for me to drink it again. jmcinerny (15), Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 6, 2005 Almost golden color, tastes of malt up front hops in the back. A very good session beer. Seems to be fairly close to an English IPA in that it is balanced and not very aggressive and you can taste the malt. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 24, 2005 Slightly couldy peach body with a medium-thick white head, uniform in distribution. Aroma is subtle and flowery. No bold hops in nose, like I hope for in an IPA. This aroma is as low and sweet as the Western Maryland mountain air. Taste is hoppy as expected. Right away you get the effects of drastic dry hopping, which is odd because the nose disclosed no clues. Pinecones and dry needles prick the tongue and cheeks, followed by sweeter pineapple and lemon. Bitter dry ending. Its weird but behind the veil of sophisticated hopiness, "Heineken flavors" rear their unattractive head from time to time. My taste buds have mixed feelings about this one. Average IPA for sure, with a hint of hop funkiness. Compare the overall percentile of 52 to the style percentile of 18.7.
