Pretty good hoppy taste, but no balance. I’d guess this is pretty high on the IBU’s. Needs some more malt though. mw1030 (5), Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 23, 2003 I really like this beer. Delicate for an I.P.A. but delicious nonetheless. Nice appearance, balanced, flowery, fairly complex, dry character. Sturgess (173), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 22, 2003 This beer poured a light tan gold color and formed a foamy white head that left some trace lace as it subsided. An aroma of malt, hops and caramel. A flavor of malt, hops and caramel with a fairly sweet finish for an IPA. As far as IPAs go, I consider this a failure, but okay for a pale ale style. Which made this review confusing.
