Hazy copper color with a large frothy head that leaves a good lacing in my glass, citrus and piney hop aroma. Buttery, fruity and caramel flavors with a mild hop bite, medium body with a creamy soft mouthfeel, finishes with a clean and pleasant bitterness, a decent english style IPA.

Nov 7, 2009 Hazy bright orange color. Nice bubbling carbonation. Fluffy head. Looks like a typical pale. Nice icy lace.
Sweeter than normal pale malt. Sharp bitter hop. Bitter hops rule here. Pale (crystal?) malt, which even has a slight burnt hint.
Malt and hops form a bitter symphony, at 2 different levels. A bit flowery in the hop but mostly pilsnery bitter all around.
Sorta bubbly, yet relatively easy to drink. A little bite on the way down. Mellows out after a bit. It’s really more of a pale than an IPA, or perhaps an English IPA. IT’s a bit too "spiky" to drink all night. Not bad but too bitter. But I’m not in love with pales to begin with, so take that for what it’s worth.

Nov 3, 2009 olden color, light head and light lacing. Nose of light hops, grassy, a bit of malt. Fairly bland, not enough hops. Finishes bland.

Oct 24, 2009 Hazy golden color with a thin off white head. Slight caramel flavor with a bitter hops finish. Not too bad.

Oct 9, 2009 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of Earthy hops and toasted malts. Poured orange/amber in color with a huge, foamy, rocky, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of hops, malts, light caramel, and Earth. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Hop, malt, and Earth finish is dry.

Sep 30, 2009 Both bottles were a bit under carbonated. Thin, watery, lacking in hoppiness. Pretty boring, really. Got the sixer for $4 on the half-off rack, and I would say they were priced about right. Nothing to write home about.

12 oz. Pours a hazy amber with a medium head. Definatly a english ipa. Mostly malts in the nose and taste. Mild citrus hops. It does finish somewhat bitter, with a sweet malt backbone

Aug 6, 2009 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Notably English in style, as the medal indicates. Not nearly as hopped up as the Americans we’re used to. Nice and drinkable, though.
