Sweet malts on the nose, hints of a toastiness. Pours a clear amber brown with no head. Slightly nutty flavor with some spicy hops, somewhat watery. Not much here.

12 oz bottle. Pours a brown color with a small head. Way too carbonated for my tastes. Fizzy, light, malt flavors. I think I could pass on this one and stick to the other beers from this brewery.

12oz bottle. Brown toffee color, looks filtered. Nutty caramel flavors. Malty, rich, and creamy. Nothing over the top, but a pretty good session beer.

A very pleasant session brew provided by the wife in her rambling travels about the land. Gentle pour yeilds similar head that fizzes away to nothingness in mere moments. Nose is near extinct but what there is of it is caramel sweet. Lght mouthfeel, followed by the expected nuttyness and rounded out with caramel malts bolstered with hop tones at finish. Not great but far brom poor.

Bottle. Pours dark brown, with a small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, with chocolate and caramel, very sweet. Flavor is there but not really well mixed. Sweetness, with dark malts, but the malts kind of hit you initially, and then melt away. Caramel is very strong in the flavor. Kind of ehh.

12 ounce bottle- brown ale the way it was meant to be done. A nutty, chocolate aroma carried through to the taste with a warm glow to follow. A slight weakness on the palate is the only negative for this ale. Excellent overall.

Poured deep brown with small head. Terrific nutty aroma. Flavor was marginal... nuttiness was there, but was very watery. Disappointing. Lively at first, but flat finish. Impressive in some respects, but disappointing in others. I’d get it again, but it better be cheaper next time.
