Draft at Griffs. Made near my hometown, this beer is a good standard nut brown ale. nothing exciting just attention to quality ingredients. a safe beer to keep in the house if you may be having guests over that aren’t beer fanatics. smell is sweet with a slight cinnamon scent. bubbles about a third of an inch with thick tan foam. Tastes of sweet malts, slight chocolate, little bit of paper and roasted almonds. great lacing on the way down and flavor comes out more as it warms to room temp.

Pours brown with a red tint and a very small tan head. Aroma is light but smells of dark malts. Taste is.... a little odd. Cookie like bready malts and a strange kind of sweet and tart taste. Ok, but definitely not great.

Bottle @ Kavarna, Decatur, GA. Pours a dirty brown with microscopic dissipating head. Nose is dark caramel, some kind of nutty cookie, some chocolate roasty notes like a porter, body is somewhat thin though, ends with a nice goldings twang, very dry and yeasty. Really not too bad.

Pours a clear ruby brownish with a thin head that fades to nothing. Aroma nutty sweet, caramel, toffee, dark crystal, and hints of chocolate malt with a very small hint of butter. Sharp dark crystal malts, nutty, toasty and chocoalte malts, with a slightly strange off metallic twang with a little butter slickness in the end. Decent body and mouthfeel is ok. Average Brown Ale.

Dark amber/light brown color with a faint nut aroma. Thin and not as flavorful as other browns.
