A creamy and toasty ale, brewed with oatmeal, five malt varieties and roasted barley. Hops include a blend of Cascade, Willamette, and Tettnang hops. This lush, full stout has a rich black color and a dry finish that is smooth and gently hopped.

Bottle. Poured opaque black with brown highlights, nearly no head at all. Nose is straight up chocolate and oats. Taste is a bit roasty, with the chocolate malts and Fuggles hops coming in full-tilt. A decent stout, if a little ordinary.

Very sweet toasty aroma. Black with a chocolaty head. Smooth sweet malty taste with a dry finish. Very flavorfull and full bodied. Some oatmeal stouts leave you wanting more but this one delivers. Can’t find a better beer at this affordable price.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

Black brown color with a oatmeal aroma. I taste of oatmeal to go along with a slightly hoppy finish

Bottle. Aroma is malty, with a light hint of oats. As you would expect, color is a dark black/brown with a tan head. Head is rather small. Flavor is malty, with a smooth and full body. You can taste the oatmeal a bit there. Finishes with a hint of hops. Overall, a pretty good stout, if not a little run-of-the-mill.

Very dark pour with a thin tan head. Deep roasted aroma fills the nose. Smooth and creamy mouth feel. Roasted notes are very present as is espresso. This beer enters the mouth somewhat syrupy but then picks up some mild fireworks and settles into a light dry bitterness. This is not a classic stout but is a great beer to sample. There is plenty going on to keep the taste buds active.

Black with minimal tan head. Lots of oatmeal in the malt - nice mix of light bitter chocolate and slight vanilla. Pretty solid wood presence. Hopped so gently that I imagine it was a pinch added to the vat. Really not memorable. Dec 25th - goes great with peanut brittle.
