Bottle. Pours dark dark red brown, tan head. Aroma is licorice, molasses, nuts, and malt. Flavor is molasses, caramel, malt, nuts, coffee. Light to medium body for a sweet stout.

Pours a black color with a small beige lacing of a head. Aroma is of mild coffee beans, malt, and a hint of barley and oats. Taste is predominantly malty with overtones of mild roasted coffee and oats. An above average stout, but still lacking that GOOD stout taste.

A good oatmeal, but nothing overly impressive. Hits all the right notes: roasted flavor, some coffee and chocolate, a little oaty feel, nothing too powerful. A good example of a good style.

Pours dark brown, almost black with a very small tan head. Quickly fading. The aroma is Heavy roast, but not burnt, coffee, molases and chocolate. The flavor is milk chocolate, coffee, roast and oats. The mouthfeel is soft and creamy. Nice.

Got this bottle out of a variety pack from wildgoose. It was decent for a stout with a hint of chocolate, but a bit bland with hardly any aftertaste

Bottle. Aroma of chocolate and oatmeal and light roast malts. Pour was dark brown with a tan head. Flavor was good, similar to the nose but not on any one point rather even. Palate was good creamy but thin. Overall not bad at all.

12 oz bottle via trade with slob! - Thanks Bert - Pours very deep brown with a tall creamy tan head that stays very well and laces the sides of the glass in sheets. Aroma is chocolate, oatmeal, and some cream. Flavor is lighter than expected. I picked up some chocolate and a bit of the oatmeal, and mostly cream. Palate is creamy yet not quite full enough for a stout. Silky soft finish with just a touch of hops.. Drinkable but not something I’d seek out again.

Thin body, though a nice dark color. Ho head at all. Aroma of milk, oatmeal, hops amd malts was decent. Tastes of oatmeal, malts and hops. In fact, the oatmeal added little to the flavor. Thin body really seemed to limit the potential of this beer.
