It had a good stout flavor but not even a slight hint of oatmeal flavor. Has a good dark color and good body but just doesn’t REALLY impress.

A nearly black stout with hints of red in the light and a small finger of tan head with a nice lacing. Lovely nose with that typical oatmeal stout sweetness and some plums and warm dark fruit. Nice and creamy on the tongue, the taste is plums and chocolate along with the smooth oatmeal finish. A nice solid oatmeal stout.

The aroma is really nice with chocolate, coffee, toasted malt, and a hint of hops. The appearance is dark brown with a thin head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a nice beer.

Pours dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Very faint nut and milky aroma. Very nice sweet milk chocolate and nutty flavor with a mild hop finish for a nice mocha-like finish. Fairly light body with a nice sticky finish.

From bottle... poured very dark brown. Small head. Weak nutty aroma. Flavor was pretty good... lightly sweet and malty. Not very deep, and more thin than I expected from an oatmeal stout. Easy to drink, but maybe too easy. Still, I’ll give it another shot for sure.

Nutty slightly roasty aromas. Pours brown, dark amber in the light. Very light on the palate. Sweet malts with vanilla, very very light stout. Not much of a stout, i’d say its a desent brown ale.
