| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Thin brown head of fine and dense bubbles. Reduces rather quickly. Roasty aroma with some mild chocolate. Not very intense or complex aroma. Color is a very dark brownish black. Smooth and creamy flavor. More roasted grains and the oats come through with the smooth body. Little bit of nuts and some sweet malts also. Finishes creamy and smooth with a lingering roastyness. A decent stout. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 27, 2007 12oz bottle. Pour is a glossy black with a very thin head of mocha cream. The aroma is very roasty, reminds me more of a porter. The flavor reveals the creamy nature of the beer. There are hops as well; this is a pretty decent blend. Would be great if it was thicker, as it is it’s too watery. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Bottle. Very dark brown with a ruby tinge body with a creamy tan-brown head.
Aroma has some charcoal and plenty of chocolate, toffee, and toast.
Flavour has some chewy chocolate, coffee roast, and bread. A bit weak overall.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2007 Bottle obtained from HogTownHarry. Dark ruby-brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild, sweet and a bit roasty, with some coffee notes. Medium bodied - a bit light for the style, I thought. Pleasant flavour, with notes of caramel malt and coffee, and a moderately hopped finish. Not bad, but it didn’t wow me.
