Roasty, sweet and smooth oatmeal stout. Hops present, but this is definitely a malt-lovers beer.

Bottle. a deep ruby beer with a big beige head. The aroma is a bit oxidized as if it was old. The taste is sweet malty, light roasted, dusty and also oxidized. Medium body with a dry dusty finish.

Poured a darker black color (you could barely see through it when held to a light) with an average sized, brown head. Chocolate and coffee aroma and tastes. Oatmeal comes through lightly. Smooth, thin and lightly watery body.

Rich and black with a full cream colored head. Smooth milk chocolatey coffee aroma. Palate is sweet and thick with some earthiness and a pleasant roasted bitter finish. A good oatmeal stout.

Pours pitch black with a big, frothy, khaki-colored head. When held up to bright light, its crimson hue is revealed. Toast, espresso, dark chocolate and perfume in the aroma. Lots of roasted malt flavor. Bitter cocoa, espresso and damp wood or straw. Full-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Short, toasted, bitter finish.
