Drier than a lot of American interpretations of this style, but very enjoyable nonetheless. After a few sips, it really evens out, leaving all sorts of pleasant malty flavors on the tongue. If you enjoy a great porter, this one deserves your full attention. cjw163 (108), hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA

Off-white head and excellent carbonation. The flavor is vanilla, deep rich molasses, raspberry and an alcohol presence. Palate is a velvet bitterness. Great smell. Great taste. Great Porter. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
