Commercial Description:
Appearing almost black at first glance, Wild Goose Porter is actually a deep ruby-red ale. Roasted malt flavors accent its velvety finish.

This is my favorite porter, especially from the tap. I can’t say enough good things about this beer. Dark, rich and warm, it makes life worth living again.

A robust, smooth, dark porter that is first class all the way. Drier than a lot of American interpretations of this style, but very enjoyable nonetheless. After a few sips, it really evens out, leaving all sorts of pleasant malty flavors on the tongue. If you enjoy a great porter, this one deserves your full attention.

12 oz bottle from variety pack. Poured very dark, just like a perfect porter. very nice roast with just a very slight hint of chocolate? had a slight irony taste, which I like being form the ’burg...outstanding

Dark, black-brown with teryaki, vanilla and wood stove in the nose. Off-white head and excellent carbonation. The flavor is vanilla, deep rich molasses, raspberry and an alcohol presence. Palate is a velvet bitterness. Great smell. Great taste. Great Porter.

Very dark reddish brown, with tan head. Coffeelike, but nonetheless unmistakably beer. Really satisfying, overall.

Subtle malty aroma good creamy scents noted. Dark Red-black small tan head. Very flavorful lightly roasted taste. Full mouthfeel with zings of subtle carbonation. Very very smooth and nice pleasing aftertaste. Very nice.
