| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2008 12oz bottle. Coppery-amber color, filtered appearance. Heavy and deep spice aroma. The taste is similar, a very hearty and full pumpkin pie sweetness. Finish is rich and malty, with a lingering spicy sweetness. Better than your average pumpkin ale, worth a try if you are into the style. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 28, 2008 One of the nice pumpkin ales I’ve had. I enjoy the style immensely, but find that I’m very picky with it. This one gets high marks for flavor and balance. jgb9348 (2502), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Deep amber coloured body with orange tints and copper highlights with a thin tan head that fades fast. Nice pungent aroma of fresh hops, strong pumpkin, spice and sweet fruits. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong pumpkin taste up front fading to a bit of a malty taste along with the spices of nutmeg and cinnamon that last quite a while. Aftertaste stays bitter because of the malt and spice, but it actually finishes quite nicely. Overall, this one is pretty good - the pumpkin is very noticeable and the rest is decent. Good to try, especially because it is a ’local’ seasonal! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 19-November-2005 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. ScoWRee (276), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Slightly darker than the ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Has a hint of pumpkin aroma in the smell along with pumpkin spices but the aroma is mostly just plain beer. Initial taste is somewhat like a dark lager or alt. but that immediately morphs into the taste of an amber ale or APA. There is some pumpkin spice in the flavors and some bitterness is in the forefront. However, it doesn’t start building until you are well into the session. Alt flavors also contihnue thru to the finish. Not bad except for the average bitter bite that is present. IMHO one of the better pumpkin beers. Better and more enjoyable than most. Finish is mild bitter lingering medicine. guzzler67 (1281), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 1, 2007 Clear amber/orange appearance with an average size white head and decent lacing. Muted aroma, malty, with little evidence of the pumpkin. Flavor is sweet malt, modestly hopped and well spiced. Pumpkin becomes more evident as it warms and lingers in the aftertaste. Pleasant, spicy finish.
